John Chapman

John Adam Chapman began his career in the natural gas industry 21 years ago as a field technician performing a variety of services for utilities across the southeastern United States. These included mobile and walking leak surveys, damage prevention services, and AMR/AMI installations. John then served in roles of progressing responsibility, from project management, to sales engineering, and then operations management over large, multi-state utility contracts throughout the United States.
He is now the Leader of Strategic Business for Honeywell’s Smart Energy division, working closely with utilities throughout the world to create new and innovative solutions to overcome the biggest challenges facing our industry.
John attended Shorter University in Rome, Georgia, where he still resides with his wife and two daughters.
