Jonathan Wong

Jonathan is a team lead in the Pipeline Integrity department for the Southern California Gas Company and has 8  years in the utility business. He started his engineering career with SoCalGas in distribution engineering with system  modeling for master planning, damages, and new customers. Shortly after, he moved to the Distribution Riser Inspection  Project (DRIP) focusing on the prevention/mitigation of anodeless risers. After DRIP, he moved onto the Pipeline Safety  Enhancement Plan as a project manager focusing on valve automation before switching over to Pipeline Integrity. He  currently leads a team of engineers who focus on MAOP validation. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical  Engineering along with an MBA and is a registered professional engineer in the state of California.
