Jorge Gil-Blanco

Jorge Gil-Blanco supervises Pacific Gas & Electric’s Dig-in Reduction Team (DiRT). The team consists of 23 Investigators and 1 Damage Prevention Specialist and are deployed across a 70,000-square mile service area in Northern California. The team is charged with the investigation of 100% of all dig-ins to PG&E facilities (gas, electric and fiber optics) and the reduction of dig-ins to the system. The team has been successful in helping reduce the dig-in ratio by 33% over the last 4 years. Jorge’s background is 44 years in Law Enforcement.
