Kendall Helm

Kendall Helm, Ph. D. is the Vice President of People and Culture for San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E). She is responsible for developing and managing human resource policies, employee diversity and inclusion programs, organizational effectiveness, labor relations oversight and staffing, employee communications, HR service and analysis and workforce readiness. Kendall joined SDG&E in 2015 and has served as Vice President of Customer Operations and Vice President of Energy Supply. She joined Sempra Energy in 2012, serving in various roles including Director of Investor Relations. Prior to joining Sempra Energy, Kendall served as a senior economist with the U.S. Government Accountability Office and an economic consultant for the World Bank. She holds a doctorate in economics from American University and a bachelor’s degree in economics and international studies from the University of Denver.
