Kirsty Gerig

Kirsty is a civil engineer with over 20 years in the electrical industry.

Currently, Kirsty leads a field services team who performs operation, construction and maintenance work for the Calgary electrical network as well as the light rail traction power system on behalf of Calgary Transit.

Previous experience also includes leading field teams performing a varity of greenfield and brownfield construction projects, leading a project management team, as well as leading mulit-disciplined engineering teams.

Kirsty began her career in engineering, with a variety of civil/structural engineering assignments from structural analysis of transmission towers and substation structures, to site grading for substations, to design of underground ductbanks and overhead catenary system for traction power.
