Kumail Moledina

My name is Kumail Moledina and I am presently the Senior Manager for Electrical and Maintenance Services at ATCO Electric. My responsibilities presently include oversight for substation maintenance, telecommunications maintenance, isolated operations, telecom tower maintenance, commissioning of electrical assets and the ATCO Electric panel shop

I started my career in 2002 with Schlumberger. I was an electrical engineer and had the opportunity to travel to approximately 25 countries over 9 years. This involved overseeing several projects from conception to completion (installation) for various clients. The primary function was based around design and commissioning of Variable Speed Drive (VSD) skids for different environments.

In 2011 I joined ATCO electric as construction engineer. Since this role I have had the positions manager of construction planning and technical services, manager of site management (contractor construction) and my present role which is described above.

I received my BSc in Electrical Engineering in 2002 and professional engineering license (P. Eng) in 2006. I am a proud father of two boys (1 and 3) and have been married for seven years.
