Lana Gilpin-Jackson

Lana is the Specialist Engineer at BC Hydro’s Asset Investment Management – Transmission Lines Strategy & Standards group. He is responsible for standards, structures, foundations and related asset life extension or risk mitigation programs. He has lead the research and use of state-of-the-art solutions in technology for overhead lines, is recognized for innovation in electric utilities and holds patents in Canada and the US for inventions in materials and structures. Lana has held technical and management positions in international organizations and has represented BC Hydro at various engineering committees, conferences and seminars.
