Mark Esguerra

Mark Esguerra has been with Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) approximately 23 years where he has held various leadership positions within the organizations of Distribution Planning, Transmission Planning, Generation Interconnections and Transmission & Substation Engineering Standards. Currently, Mark is the Senior Director of PG&E’s Electric Asset Strategy organization where he is responsible for the life cycle management of PG&E’s electric assets.

Mark Esguerra earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from San Francisco State University and also obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Masagung School of Business at the University of San Francisco. Mark is a registered professional Electrical Engineer for the State of California and is the current Chair of the AEIC’s DER Sub-Committee (subcommittee to the AEIC Power Delivery Committee).
