Mathew Johns

Mathew Johns is the Director of Environmental Remediation and Resource Development Strategies for NV Energy. Matt worked as an environmental consultant for 20 years prior to joining NV Energy in 2015. During this time Matt worked on site remediation and closure projects across the United States for power, manufacturing, mining, and oil and gas companies. In his current role with NV Energy, Matt is responsible for corporate asset retirement obligations for energy supply. Matt will share NV Energy’s experience in the operational shut-down and decommissioning work at the former Reid Gardner Generating Station.
