Michael Malloy

Mike leads the Safety and Workforce Excellence organization for the Electric T&D department. Mike’s team leads for Safety, Quality, Training, Work Methods/Procedures and Human Performance. Mike has worked for PG&E for almost 35 years and has held a variety of positions in Electric Transmission and Distribution, Hydro Generation, Technology Implementations, Smart Grid, Emergency Management and now Safety. All of these have been critical to working across the lines of business and with the various technologies to ensure PG&E’s success in an increasingly complicated environment for utilities.

Mike is originally a T&D System Operator and earned his BS in IT while working for PG&E. He has been married to his wife Denny for 27 years. He has two children that are adults and he has one grandson. Mike fills his off time with projects around his house and yard which he enjoys and travels when he can. Mike lives in Paradise, outside Chico, CA where his office is located.
