Michele Miranda

Michele has served as PGE’s Manager of PGE Federal Government Affairs since September 2015. She is based out of the Portland, Oregon headquarters and represents PGE on its full range of federal issues before Congress and at federal agencies. She also helps manage the PGE Employees’ Federal Political Action Committee. PGE is an investor-owned utility engaged in the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity.

Prior to joining PGE, Michele spent 9 years serving in the US Senate as Senator Wyden’s Senior Policy Advisor for Natural Resources, as a Senior Counsel to the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee and as a Senior Counsel to the Senate Finance Committee. She led efforts to pass over 15 pieces of federal legislation. Michele previously practiced law in Washington, DC and served in the Peace Corps in Honduras and the Northwest Service Academy, a Portland, Oregon-based Americorps program.

Michele is a graduate of NYU School of Law and the University of Oregon Honors College.
