Michael Anderson

Mike Anderson has been in the underground industry for 30 years and the equipment distribution business for more than 40 years. As President of Ditch Witch in California for nearly thirty years, he was instrumental in the early development and implementation of HDD technology throughout the state. He has co-developed not only many technology patents used in the industry today, but also developed the first HDD Operator and Safety Training Programs over two decades ago. Today those curriculums are the foundation of all the HDD, Vacuum Excavation and Gas Line Splitting training provided on the West Coast by Ditch Witch West, now since 2017, a part of the Papé Group of companies. Over the years, more than 3,000 people have attended the training classes provided by Ditch Witch West. Today he oversees all California operations of Ditch Witch West.
