Murthy Vijjapu

Murthy Vijjapu is a Data Governance expert who spent many years implementing innovative solutions to address complex demands of transforming Utility Industry Operations. He has a broad and diverse experience in developing Software based, data driven solutions to increase value for large enterprises, Information Governance and Compliance. He is currently heading SCE’s Information Governance department and is helping them in their pursuit to modernize their Information Governance Portfolio that also includes Information Protection and Data quality. Prior to SCE he was a Director and Technology Partner at Computer Sciences Corporation. During his time at CS he was involved in ideation, development and implementation of Energy Industry vertical solutions. He is a Mechanical Engineer who transitioned into software and information management writing software programs for automating large industrial machines. He is currently pursuing his Executive MBA from University of California, specializing in Digital Transformation.
