Nataliya Kazakova

Natalia Kazakova is the Senior Manager of Integrated Planning in EPCOR Distribution & Transmission Inc. (“EDTI”). Ms. Kazakova’s responsibilities include leading the Asset Management, System Planning and Risk and Performance Management teams who manage EDTI’s distribution physical assets and power infrastructure during their life cycle, oversee timely, rational, and cost-effective expansion of EPCOR’s distribution electric system, and plan capital and operational expenditures to ensure EDTI’s system growth and service sustainability.
Natalia has been working in the area of Asset Management for the past 14 years; such, before joining EPCOR, she was providing consulting services to utility companies across North America, and before that served as a Senior Manager in Transmission and Distribution Asset Investment Management in BC Hydro responsible for a broad strategic business portfolio.
Ms. Kazakova holds two Master of Science degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta and Lvov National Polytechnic University, Ukraine respectively and a Business Degree from the Simon Fraser University, and is a Professional Engineer registered with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (“APEGA”).
