Neil Jenest

Neil Jenest is currently the Manager of Project Engineering and Design for pipeline assets in PG&E’s Gas Transmission organization and is a registered professional engineer in the State of California. His team is responsible for designs to retrofit pipelines for in-line inspection and for designs to install or replace pipe, valves, and fittings on PG&E’s 6,500 miles of transmission pipelines throughout California. Neil graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and after a few years with Bechtel Corp. in downtown San Francisco, moved to join PG&E across the street as an associate gas engineer. He has been in PG&E’s GT engineering group for the last 16 years holding various roles in the pipeline services and pipeline design groups, and has been managing the project design team for the last 3 years.
