Neil Jenest

Neil Jenest is the Director of Gas Transmission Engineering and Design at PG&E. His team is responsible for the engineering and drafting necessary to deliver design packages to upgrade, repair, or replace existing pipeline and station facilities, and for building new facilities within PG&E’s gas transmission system throughout California. His team also supports Process Safety efforts across the enterprise as part of PG&E’s Safety Excellence Management System. Neil has been with PG&E for over 19 years in various engineering and leadership roles in the Gas Transmission organization, and is a registered professional mechanical engineer in the state of California. Neil is part of the leadership structure in PG&E’s Gas Emergency Center, and has been activated to support numerous significant gas events over his career, including the San Bruno transmission line rupture and the Novato landslide emergency response last winter.
