Nevida Jack

Nevida Jack has been in the utility industry for twelve years and has worked in engineering, operations, and markets at Salt River Project (SRP). She joined SRP’s Engineering Rotation Program in 2002 and worked in various aspects of the company, including Communications Engineering and System Protection. Nevida also worked in Transmission Planning and completed studies on the transmission system in the area of the University of Phoenix Stadium before the Super Bowl of 2008. She has worked in Operations Planning for the last seven years and completed a valuation that resulted in SRP being selected as the scheduling entity for Hoover Dam resources allocated to Arizona.

Nevida holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and a W. P. Carey MBA for Technology, Science, and Engineering, both from Arizona State University. She is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Arizona and holds a private pilot’s license. She serves as the National President of the youth department for her church organization, an annual team coordinator for the Walk Now for Autism Speaks, a math tutor, and a volunteer for Special Olympics. She enjoys providing individuals in need with housing solutions, traveling with her family, reading, and singing in her church choir.
