Phil Jones

Phil joined Copperleaf as Vice President, Business Development in 2009. Over the past 12 years he has worked with energy utility clients in North America and globally to improve their approach to Capital Planning and Asset Management, with a focus on helping them achieve their strategic objectives through the application of Value-based, Risk-informed decision making practices. Prior to Copperleaf, Phil worked in business development, product management, project management, and design engineering in a variety of industries. Phil earned his Bachelor’s and Masters in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech in the early 1990s and also holds a Asset Management Certificate from The Institute of Asset Management. Originally from the US, Phil was “imported” to Canada by his wife 21 years ago and now resides in Vancouver BC.
