Phillip Virnoche

Phil Virnoche is an experienced Cloud Security/Cybersecurity Engineer with 20+ years in Information Technology and Cybersecurity disciplines. Phil’s expertise has been in designing, administering, and integrating secure on-premises networks with well architected, secure cloud environments. He led the effort in securing Avista’s AWS and Azure platforms and is a key Security representative for Avista’s Cloud Working Group.

Mr. Virnoche holds a number of Industry certifications including CISSP, CCSP as well as a number of AWS and Azure certifications.

Phil believes his technical skills and enthusiasm for solving challenging and interesting problems, complemented by his strong interest to remain a life-long learner, are the unique aspects that he brings to his Avista team.
