Rafael is a Principal Consultant in Accenture’s T&D Innovation Solutions and Services consulting practice. He has over 29 years of progressive electric utility industry leadership experience in the areas of distribution and transmission control center operations, engineering, planning, automation, asset management, construction, maintenance, restoration management & Nuclear Generation Project Management. Rafael possesses a strong understanding of all aspects of Distribution, Transmission and Nuclear Generation and the impact and benefits of EMS/ADMS/OMS/AMI technology on grid operations. He is experienced in developing grid modernization assessments, strategies, requirements gathering, EMS/ADMS/OMS/AMI vendor selection & implementation, business process design, IT/OT project management and Distribution Automation strategy development and implementation.
