Rob Ireland

Rob began his career at BC Hydro in 2009. After completing his Power Line Technician apprenticeship he worked in both distribution and transmission until 2017, when he took a temporary management position in Field Operations. He made the permanent move to management in 2018, and has managed 2 different departments since then.
Rob completed a 6 month opportunity backfilling the Senior Manager postion in his area this winter, and was recently the successful candidate on a permanent Senior Management positon in Distribution overseeing the North Central area of the province.

Rob completed a BPHE from the University of Toronto (2001), and is a Red Seal qualified Power Line Technician (2015).

Rob has 3 young kids at home and is actively involved in their hockey teams.
