Rob serves as the regional environmental services manager of Burns & McDonnell in the Northeast. With more than 20 years of experience, he has managed construction, industrial, consulting and auditing projects throughout the U.S. and the Bahamas. His broad experience across industries and project types gives him a unique perspective to address the risks and challenges associated with obtaining project approvals and maintaining compliance in today’s regulated environment. In addition to his experience managing permitting and compliance projects, he has also managed multi-media environmental, health and safety management system and compliance audits.

Rob leads a team of nearly 50 professionals across the Northeast focused on management and performance of natural resource surveys, siting, permitting, environmental compliance monitoring, community relations, and land acquisition. Since 2009, his team has supported more than $13 billion in major infrastructure programs including electrical transmission, natural gas pipelines, renewable and fossil generation facilities. These projects span across North America in more than 10 states and Canada.

To help manage environmental compliance for these geographically diverse projects and clients, Rob’s team developed a leading technology to allow real-time reporting related to the status of environmental compliance, stakeholder engagement and land acquisition through geospatial dashboards and key performance metrics. Today, this technology has been used for more than 50 projects and has resulted in multiple environmental recognition awards for our clients.
