Prior to joining the Market Insights team at Portland General Electric (PGE) in May 2019, Ron was a Senior Director with the Energy group at Market Strategies International (now known as Escalent) and led PGE’s Business Segmentation project in 2018.
Over the past 15 years, Ron has directed numerous projects for energy utilities addressing customer experience, segmentation, billing and payment, self-service migration, solar / distributed generation, electric vehicles and infrastructure, integrated resource planning, and energy efficiency / demand response program development.
Prior to his tenure at Market Strategies International, Ron held senior-level research positions at Southern California Edison, Dell Computer Corporation, and the Los Angeles Times. Ron earned a B.B.A. in Marketing at the University of Texas at Austin and completed graduate-level coursework in Communication at Stanford University and the University of Southern California.
