Ryan Murphy

Ryan Murphy is the Director of Electric Operations for Puget Sound Energy. Ryan’s team provides ‘around the clock’ oversight of all planned and unplanned activity occurring on PSE’s electrical distribution system. His team is ultimately responsible for the safe and reliable operation of the distribution system that serves over 1.2M PSE customers.

Ryan is a professionally-licensed Engineer in the state of WA, and he holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Idaho. Ryan has spent greater than 20 years working in the power industry and has accumulated a wide range of experience in the fields of power generation, transmission and distribution.
