Sarah Morton

Sarah has been with BC Hydro for 15 years and began her career as an Administrative Assistant to the Chief Finance Controller. In 2008 she transitioned over to Human Resources into an HR Analyst role supporting Corporate client services and then successfully landed the role of HR Business Partner within the Operations client services team. Sarah has been an HR Business Partner for the past 8 years supporting various client portfolios including Vancouver Island Distribution, Provincial Metering Operations, Distribution Design, Customer Connections and Distribution Engineering. She also supported one of BC Hydro’s subsidiary company’s Powertech for 3 years. Sarah is currently in her second year supporting Construction Services which is BC Hydro’s largest workforce of temporary employees who are located throughout the province. Sarah has a Bachelor of Education from Simon Fraser University (2001) a Human Resource Management Certificate (BCIT) and is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR). Sarah has 3 daughters and is kept busy between getting them to soccer practices and gymnastics training
