Scott Anderson is the Manager of T&D Asset Optimization at Salt River Project. The department is responsible for working with internal and external stakeholders to optimize the value of physical assets across the entire life cycle through a systematic balance of risk, cost and reliability.
Prior to leading the Asset Optimization department he managed Apparatus Engineering at SRP which specifies, procures, awards, and commissions all substation equipment, including the oversight of a quality management program. Before joining SRP in 2002, Scott worked for Motorola where he was responsible for electrical and control systems at semiconductor manufacturing facilities.
Scott received a B.S. degree in both Electrical Engineering and Industrial Engineering from North Dakota State University. He is a Professional Engineer in Arizona and an active member of the Association of Edison Illuminating Companies Power Apparatus Committee.
