Scott Hines

Scott Hines is a Lead System Operator with Puget Sound Energy and has 25 years of experience in the utility industry. For the past 19 years, he has been a part of the System Operations group with the last 5 years as a Lead System Operator. Scott has been involved with developing and implementing numerous projects that ensure crew safety as well as reduce customer outage time. For the past decade he has been directly involved with developing, improving, and implementing the System Operator Training program as the Training Committee chair. Scott has had an integral part in rolling out various technologies such mobile dispatch, outage management system, and will be a subject matter expert for PSE’s new ADMS implementation over the next couple of years. He is looking forward to the challenges and rewards of upcoming technology advances in the distribution arena over the next decade.
