Shane Thacker

Shane Thacker is the Senior Manager, Gas Operations Support Staff responsible for leading and managing key areas for Southwest Gas Corporation and Great Basin Gas Transmission Company, including the advancement of leak survey and line locating performance, enhancing the emergency management preparedness, overseeing the Operations Qualification Program, advancing the Damage Prevention Program, implementation of new tools and equipment, administration of Operations and other required manuals and the management of change for major operational procedure or equipment changes. Shane possesses over 35 years of experience in operations and maintenance, production, management, customer service and construction. The last 31 years he has been in the natural gas industry in various capacities pertaining to LNG plant operations, installation, replacement and maintenance of natural gas facilities project management, policy and procedure development, field equipment and material evaluations.
