Shanna Brownstein

Shanna focuses on the nexus between energy usage and climate change. She is most interested in helping utilities evolve so they can serve customers in a carbon-constrained world. In addition to her position at NW Natural, Shanna founded WISE, serves as the chair of the Oregon Caucus for the NW Energy Coalition, and is board vice-chair of Harper’s Playground.

Shanna excels at connecting with people and enjoys collaboration and team work. She has traveled extensively throughout the world and works well in diverse cultures.

Shanna earned her Masters in Public Administration from Columbia University and her Bachelor of Arts from Colby College.
