Steven Morris

Mr. Morris has 31 years of consulting and management experience with the last 24 years spent in the electric and gas utility industries. He is the North American leader of UMS’ Asset Management solution and an IAM Endorsed Assessor for ISO 55001. He has led Asset Management projects for AES, Avista, Enbridge, EPCOR, Manitoba Hydro, Nova Scotia Power, PG&E, PSE&G, SCE, SRP, Toronto Hydro, TVA, and Westar. These projects have included PAS 55/ISO 55000 assessments, asset management training workshops, development of asset management plans, creation of asset replacement and maintenance decision-support tools, organizational redesign to support Asset Management, and full business unit asset management transformations. Prior to joining UMS, Mr. Morris worked for both Andersen Consulting and Navigant Consulting. He holds a B.A. in Economics and an M.B.A., both from Cornell University.
