Timothy Day

Timothy R. Day has held the position of Senior Field Application Engineer for the past 5 years, helping electric utility customers in the western U.S. maximize the capabilities of EATON’s apparatus and advanced controls. In his prior 18-year tenure at Cooper Power’s Edison Technical Center near Milwaukee, WI, Timothy worked as a Relay Application Engineer performing power system modeling and analysis, protection algorithm design, and customer support and training. He also worked in Cooper’s System Engineering group performing electrical system studies, executing specialized field measurements and presenting workshops. Timothy completed his master’s degree in electrical power engineering from Washington State University and he is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Washington.
