Thomas Nilan

Tom Nilan is the Manager of Portland General Electric’s Environmental Compliance & Permitting group, where he leads PGE’s team for air quality, energy facility permitting, and multimedia compliance, focusing on maintaining compliance while maximizing operational flexibility. He has worked at PGE since 2015, following over 20 years of environmental work in engineering air quality consulting, trade association, and analytical services areas. He has as BS in Chemical Engineering from Penn State, and is now firmly rooted in the Pacific Northwest where he and his family spend as much time biking, skiing, and hiking as possible.
