Tony Marino

Tony has served as Executive Officer for the Dig Safe Board since it was created in July 2017. He had previously served California state senator Jerry Hill as consultant for the Senate Subcommittee on Gas, Electric, and Transportation Safety, where he staffed legislation and organized hearings on excavation safety, power line-initiated wildfires, and regulatory models for improving safety. Tony has a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Chicago and a B.A. from Davidson College.
