Vincent Zabukovec

Vincent Zabukovec has worked for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power for the last 19 years. He is licensed professional engineer with a B.S.E.E. from California State University, Los Angeles and a M.B.A. from Pepperdine University. He is a Power Engineering Manager leading the Distribution System Development and Reliability Subsection. He oversees the work of electrical engineering staff responsible for developing plans for both distribution and sub-transmission systems to add capacity for traditional load growth, electrification, and renewable integration. He also leads staff who performs reliability analysis, reliability plans, and works closely with other power system stakeholders to establish targets and identify candidates for distribution asset replacements as part of Los Angeles Department of Water & Power’s Power System Reliability Program. Prior to his management role, Mr. Zabukovec supervised engineers in a variety of groups in distribution, meter engineering, customer station design, and transmission planning.
