Overhead Underground Electric Distribution (Apr 04-06)

Electric utility professionals meet to discuss current standards, materials and maintenance for mainly distribution operations. Agendas feature extensive roundtable discussion so that each delegate has an opportunity to submit questions and receive feedback from their peers. Presentations focus on new technologies, applications, and specifications available for designing, building and maintaining overhead and underground lines. Case studies highlight best practices and lessons learned, and attendees leave with the practical knowledge to improve efficiency, safety and reduce costs. Participants also have the opportunity to preview vendor products and services. Vendors are encouraged to display.

Building Customer Satisfaction into your System
When a utility tops the charts in “Customer Satisfaction” we often imagine smiling customer service reps in call centers, or employee volunteers in matching shirts shaking hands at community events. But Customer Satisfaction is measured across an organization, from safe and reliable infrastructure to affordable pricing and efficient operations. Employees in every department and at every level have a hand in creating a culture that puts customers first. And understanding how your work drives customer satisfaction can make a difference.
