Ashley McDermott

Ashley McDermott leads the enterprise Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Center of Excellence for Pacific Gas & Electric Company.  Launched in June of 2017, this effort is focused on delivering technology for automation of repetitive, standardized workflows with the intention of creating capacity, company-wide, to do more of the value add work we’ll need in the future. For the year and a half prior to this role, Ashley served as Chief of Staff to PG&E’s Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of IT & Supply Chain , Karen Austin. As an employee since 2009, Ashley has held various roles in lean process improvement/affordability, project delivery, and contract negotiations throughout her time with PG&E.
 
Ashley holds dual degrees from the University of San Diego (USD), with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and a B.A. in Psychology. Ashley also was captain of USD’s Division I Women’s Soccer team.  Ashley lives in San Francisco with her husband and is most passionate about family, dry erase boards, the San Francisco Giants, and fitness.
