Dale Goodman

Dale leads a diverse group of 70+ union and exempt employees responsible for constructing, maintaining and operating PGE’s network of transmission, distribution and generation substations.

After college Dale has earned two journeyman Wireman certifications. He started his career with Chelan County Power where he earned his journeyman hydro plant Wireman certification with IBEW local 77. After seven years with the PUD he received his journeyman transmission / distribution substation Wireman with Local 125 and joined PGE in 1997. Since then he’s worked his way through various union leadership roles until he joined management in 2005. Dale is a graduate of WEI business acumen for emerging leaders and also served as a mentor.

Although many elements of his position are interesting and challenging the one he’s most proud of is seeing his staff arrive home safe each evening.

Dale has served on many committees including the Oregon state in house apprenticeship committee, union contract negotiations committee and currently serves on the board of directors for the Children’s Center in Clackamas county Oregon.
