Kevin Sonoda

Kevin is a Special Projects Administrator in the Street Transportation, Design & Construction Management division at the City of Phoenix. In this capacity, his team is responsible for the plan review, permit and inspection of all dry utilities in the ROW for the nation’s 5th largest city. Before joining the City of Phoenix in late 2017, Kevin was the Regulatory Affairs Manager at the City of Chandler (AZ) and the Director of Telecommunications Policy at the City of Scottsdale (AZ). Prior to working in the government sector, he spent 12 years in management positions at U S WEST (CenturyLink) in the network, technical training and sales & marketing departments. Kevin holds an M.A. in Communication from Arizona State University and a B.A. in Economics and Speech Communication from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
