Mike Swanson

Michael E. Swanson functions as the director of the Restoration Field Operations Department for Pacific Gas and Electric Company. In this position, he oversees the Company’s Electric Scheduling and Dispatch Department and the Troubleman organization. He also held the temporary position of senior director, Distribution System Operations for two years with responsibilities including oversight of the Emergency Program execution, the Distribution Control Center Consolidation project and the Restoration and Control Department. Michael has worked at PG&E for 30 years, becoming a journeyman lineman in 1988 and transitioning to a first line leader role in 1996. Since then, he has held various management positions.
