Shafin Remtulla

Shafin Remtulla is Canadian CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) currently employed as a Financial Controller, for ENMAX Corporation in their Regulated Transmission and Distribution Division. Shafin made the transition to the electricity industry in October 2017 to take on his current role where he manages and provides the finance support to the business managers of the division and is responsible to organize, compile and interpret key financial and operational information for the ENMAX Power Division.

Prior to his role in ENMAX, Shafin served in various management roles over the last 14 years in the oil and gas industry working for Husky Energy. During his time with Husky, Shafin took on a 2 year expatriate assignment in Hong Kong, China as Finance Manager for the Asia Pacific Division. In this position, he was charged with leading a team who were responsible for the accounting and financial reporting for the Asia Pacific Division with the responsibility of reporting back to the head office which was located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Shafin was born and raised in Calgary where he attended the University of Calgary graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science and Statistics and a Certificate in Advanced Accounting.
