NorthWestern Energy Lineman Tom Nielsen helps University of Montana biology professor, Erick Greene, access an osprey nest to band chicks while their angry mama circles above. The nest, located on an old pole once energized by the Milwaukee Railroad out of Deer Lodge, Montana, is part of the Montana Osprey Project’s research on heavy metals in the Clark Fork watershed.
