Ian Grant

Ian Grant is an Engineering Manager for the underground transmission line group in Black & Veatch’s Portland, Oregon office. He has over 12 years of experience and is a licensed Civil Engineer in the State of Oregon.

His fields of interest and expertise include high voltage underground transmission lines, underground distribution lines, seismic resilience of underground cables, horizontal directional drilling, augur boring and microtunneling. Mr. Grant has led the design and engineering of numerous underground transmission line projects, including the first 500 kV underground transmission line in North America for Southern California Edison in Chino Hills, California.
