Jeff Laninga

Jeff Laninga is the Live Line Methods Safety Engineer at Manitoba Hydro. He has worked at Manitoba Hydro for 19 years and completed his Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering in 2017. We are very excited to hear Jeff’s perspective on new innovations in dielectric net and rope technologies and the resulting safety improvements made for utilities wanting to work their system live. Jeff lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada, the original home of the Phoenix Coyotes and Home of many of your snowbirds; with his wife and 4 children. He enjoys playing basketball, biking ,camping and being in the great outdoors.
