Amir Noori

Amir Noori, District Manager, Southern California Edison
Amir has over 19 years in the electrical utility industry. He started his career as a performance engineer in a power generating facilitation. From there, he became an Outage Coordinator and then Maintenance Manager. Subsequently, in 2011 he made his way to the distribution side of the business and has held a variety of leadership and supervisory roles leading electrical line construction teams. In his current role, he manages a service center responsible for planning, constructing and troubleshooting the distribution electrical system. In addition, he serves on the SCE’s Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) task force and a variety of other teams driving improvements in both safety and work environment. Amir holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of California, San Diego and a Master’s in Business Administration from California Lutheran University.
