David Smith

Mr. Smith is an engineering professional with over 50 years of experience working in many areas related to power distribution systems. The first 25 years were with Westinghouse Electric Corporation, the next 21 years with Siemens Power Technologies and its predecessor organizations, and since 2009 he has served as a private consultant to utilities in matters related to secondary networks. He is a life fellow member of the IEEE, a registered professional engineer in PA, and was the recipient in 2004 of the IEEE Power Engineering Societies Award for Excellence in Power Distribution Engineering. He is holder or co holder of five patents.
